Lift Inauguration at Bindhyabasini Temple Premises

Laxmi Group, Nepal with combined contribution of Hyundai Motor, South Korea has constructed lift in the premises of Bindhyabasini Temple, Pokhara aiming to provide mobility rights and convenience to elderly and mobility impaired visitors. The Lift was inaugurated by The Right Honorable President of Federal Republic of Nepal Mrs. Bidhya devi Bhandari on 7th March, 2019 Thursday.

The chairman of Bindhyabasini Development Committee and Laxmi Group Mr. Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha provided a welcome speech at the Inauguration ceremony of Lift, from the side of Bindhyabasini development Committee. Speaking at the welcome Speech he further clarified about other additional activities carried out by the committee. After the establishment of the committee, they have successfully Constructed, Radha Krishna Temple, Shanti Niwas, Gurukul Bhawan, Temple of Asta Chiranjivi and Nava graha Temple, yagya Mandap, Aakhanda Hawan Mandap, Bindhyabasini Bahuudhesya Bhawan, stone paving within the premises of the temple, Water Taps, pauwa and etc. Furthermore, he also stated that, due to insufficient water facilities for cleaner and greener Temple premises, with the support of Government of Gandaki State, the project of drawing water from boring source is also planned for near future by the committee. Based on the policies of the committee, the “Vetis” provided by the devotees is used by the committee for their expenses and remaining is used in different social contributions, similarly, for the benefit of elderly, the committee has also been providing day care service to the elderly with jestha nagarik milan Kendra along with Bindhyabasini Ambulance service and also has shown promises to perform more social services as the committee grows further.

Gandaki State Head Mr. Baburam Kunwar, Chief minister Mr. Prithivi Subba Gurung, Chief of Pokhara Municipality Mr. Man bahadur G.C,  His Excellency Park  Yong-Sik (Ambassador of The Republic of Korea to Nepal), representatives from Laxmi Group, respected person and public along with media personnel were also present on the inauguration ceremony.
